Stories where empires crumble,
where the oppressed strike back,
where resistance wears many faces — fists, fire, myth, silence.
Sometimes the only way to act was to film.
To fight with what was left.
A plastic sword. A borrowed god. A stolen reel.
The camera was Buddhist.
The costumes were handmade.
But the message was always this: Shiva’s blades slashing through the oppressor.
No need for false humility when the silence has already cost generations.
The violence that was done is beyond balancing.
These films don’t seek justice — they get revenge on screen.
Restoration of this lost (almost) archive is about showing what happened when those who were never meant to speak picked up the camera — and aimed it back.
* Archival Note
The archive spans decades and continents —
from the highlands of the Andes to the deltas of Bengal,
from desert uprisings to jungle epics shot in secret.
Most of it remains scattered.
Some reels are damaged. Others still hidden.
This is only the beginning.
More will surface, and will be carefully digitized and restored in time.
